Numerical polynomial envelopes
Abstract
Numerical polynomial envelopes.
PolynomialBound is only a numerical upper-envelope relation. Sums, products, fixed powers and compositions preserve that relation. These statements do not assign runtime to arbitrary functions; they bound algorithms whose counted executions are separately proved.
