Two unbounded scale parameters
Abstract
Uniform endpoints for a reserved bit
For integer p,l>=2 put x=2p,D=2xl,A=x^3+x^2+x+1 and H=x^4l. The internal endpoints lemma proves all four old and enlarged trough, peak and zero-total gates for the actual single-bit-reserve schedule. It shifts p and l by two and verifies nonnegative polynomial coefficients in the resulting independent nonnegative variables. The enlarged first block includes the literal ear A; the withheld U label contributes lA to the old last positive block and 2lA to the enlarged one. These inequalities have no finite upper bound on either parameter.
