Conical entropy and local curvature terms

Verified source

Physical Review D 51 (1995), 609-617; arXiv:hep-th/9407001v1. The primary arXiv record and APS abstract describe regularizing the cone, one-loop matter effective actions, and entropy renormalization.

Use and boundary

Credits the smooth-cone method underlying the local curvature contribution to replica/Wald entropy. The RT calculation fixes its Euclidean action sign and uses only the linear-curvature term at a suitable static bifurcation surface. It is not an evaluation of the complete entropy of an arbitrary state or arbitrary dynamical surface.
