Heat kernel expansion

Physics Reports 388 (2003), 279-360; arXiv:hep-th/0306138v3. The primary record and the heat-kernel coefficient setting were checked.

Use and boundary

Background for the scalar linear-curvature coefficient in a low-derivative, common-regularization effective action. The RT mass-mixing comparison keeps the field content, nonminimal coupling and finite renormalization prescription fixed. Its finite spectral difference does not determine the absolute Newton constant, all counterterms, nonlocal real-time influence, or a CFT dual. The normalized mass matrix is an auxiliary spectral object, not the matter field’s density matrix.
