Spectral tails and replica validity

Primary source and locator

JHEP 04 (2021), 062, published 8 April 2021. The primary publisher abstract and arXiv record were read. The source specifically discusses a second quantum extremal surface and a large amount of highly incompressible entropy; those geometric assumptions are not inferred for the present finite code.

Use and boundary

Credits the established warning that a leading replica approximation requires additional information-theoretic control. Section 42 proves a finite positive-spectrum example with noncommuting large-parameter and replica-derivative limits, plus sufficient spectral-tail criteria. It does not import the source’s full one-shot derivation or claim the example is a gravitational counterexample. The rank-tail and subunit-Renyi bounds are standard entropy estimates applied to a stated target condition.
