Open-system adiabatic elimination

Verified source

arXiv:1603.04630v1, 15 March 2016. Primary PDF sections 2-3 and its introduction were inspected, including a screenshot of PDF page 2. The paper specifies convergence to a decoherence-free space and derives first-order and certain second-order formulas.

Use and boundary

The all-orders Lindblad and Kraus-parameterization statement is explicitly conjectural in this source. The arithmetic RT population-dephasing model has a classical fixed-point algebra and is solved directly; it is not asserted to satisfy every hypothesis of the paper’s decoherence-free-subspace theorem. The uniform-in-time diamond bound in the RT volume comes from its own two-dimensional matrix calculation.
