Large-N AdS/CFT proposal
Maldacena’s abstract describes a limit of particular conformal theories containing a supergravity sector on an AdS background times a compact manifold, and conjectures dualities with string/M theory. The proposal concerns specific brane systems and large-N limits; it does not assign an AdS bulk to every conformal or vertex operator algebra.
Interpreting the data of appendix 2143 as a holographic boundary theory requires an additional, concrete bulk and boundary model, its limit, and its dictionary. Neither the theorem on partial observation of group-indexed logarithmic traces nor the existence of a VOA supplies that duality. For the separate scope of relative entropy and modular flow in a chosen holographic model, see JLMS.
