Statement and scope

Theorem 2 and its proof. A concave unitarily invariant function of the reduced density matrix defines a pure-state entanglement monotone; its convex-roof extension does not increase on average under local operations. The finite-coordinate selective measurement considered here is a projective partition on the second factor, including zero-probability branches.
